DIPPING INTO THE CATECHISM – A diocesan response to the Synod
This is a new diocesan initiative in response to your request to learn more about the teachings of the Catholic Church. Each week we offer an excerpt from the Catechism along with a simple explanation.

Please click on the image of the catechism opposite to see this week's 'dip'

If you would like to further explore the teachings of our faith there are several groups across the diocese that meet locally and online.
If you would like more information, please contact deborah.vankroonenburg@prcdtr.org.uk

                Sunday Mass obligation resumed
After these challenging years, the bishops have clarified that the obligation to attend Sunday Mass should be respected once again.
From Pentecost Sunday, 5th June, all remaining Catholics in England and Wales are called to be back at Sunday Mass.
"Virtual viewing of Mass online does not fulfil the Sunday obligation."
